- Check whether the hygrometer is placed in the geometric center of the product, typically the center shelf
- Having +/-5% differences to set humidity is normal as the humidity level will fluctuate when the compressor kicks in and out or door open/close etc.
Recommended to monitor the humidity level for a few hours prior to adjusting - Please always ask customer their temperature and humidity setting.
Cooling and humidifying functions counteract each other somewhat.- The lower the temperature setting is, the less accurate the humidity control will be.
- For example, if the setting temperature is lower than 54 F, the system will focus on maintaining this temperature and humidifying system control won’t be able to compensate and to keep the set humidify.
- If the temperature/humidity setting are reasonable and the humidity level are measured correctly but deviation is still out of 5% range, it can be corrected by re-calibrating the unit’s hygrometer setting thru steps below and attached video.
Entering Calibration Mode:
Power unit off by holding the power button for 3seconds
Hold in the C/F button until the display shows P1 under the Temperature side
Adjusting Offsets (Calibration)
Pressing C/F button will cycle through the different areas to adjust (see below)
Use the arrow up / arrow down buttons to adjust the settings/offsets
When adjustments are done display will go off after 10-12 seconds
You can now power the unit back on
Example...if the humidity is reading 3% higher than the hygrometer (verified and stabilized) and you need to adjust
follow steps above
Once in calibration mode press C/F until P6 shows
Press down arrow until it is 3 lower than start point (if your display showed P6 | 1 you would push down until it showed P6 | -2 (offset 3 lower than it was set at)
What each setting adjusts:
P1 : Adjust the lower limit temperature
P2 : Adjust the upper limit temperature
P3 : Adjust the upper limit humidity
P4 : Adjust the lower limit humidity
P5 : Adjust temperature deviation(±5℃)
P6 : Adjust humidity deviation (±10%RH)
