Part used: NCH840-ComboSensor
Tools Needed:
- Philips Screwdriver
-
Wire Cutters or scissors
-
Remove at least the top 2 of your flat shelves to access the back panel of the unit.
-
The combo sensor is shown boxed in green. This is the part that will be replaced. Locate and remove the 4 screws on the backplate as shown. You will not need to remove the bottom 2 screws.
-
Peel back the backplate to reveal a cluster of wires. Snip the zip tie that fastens the wires from the combo sensor to other wiring mechanisms.
- Follow along the combo sensor wire to its plastic connector (black) and disconnect it.
- Unclip and the combo sensor (gray piece) from the backplate, and attach your replacement one.
-
Connect the new combo sensor wire end onto your unit. Secure the backplate in its original position and align your shelves with the side-mounted rails. After this, your replacement is complete.
